Claire Lim was appointed as Director of Business Development of the ASEAN region, Patsnap Singapore. She works in tandem with many stakeholders in the industry ranging from Governmental bodies to MNCs and SMEs, to support them towards key decision-making in the intellectual property sector. She is responsible for the overall new business revenue generated by PatSnap’s ASEAN sales operation. Not only so, she is also the head of recruitment and training of the entire PatSnap’s ASEAN team. Beyond the aspects of sales, she is poised for a pivotal role in formulating new market strategies for Patsnap’s Singapore Office.
PatSnap is the leading IP Analytic and Management platform that empowers even non IP-proficient users to understand this competitive landscape. By leveraging on Patsnap’s global patent database, even non IP-proficient users are empowered to perform big data analytic and create competitive landscapes to track trends, clusters and white spaces. With a strong foundation in IP built during her time at the Intellectual Property of Singapore (IPOS) in her previous role, she is well placed to understand and anticipate government policies aimed at promoting the IP industry whilst also appreciating the nuances of the IP marketplace. Her experience in the IP industry from both the private and public sector gives her a comprehensive and expert view of the IP landscape. Her expertise puts her at the frontline of the burgeoning niche industry of Intellectual Properties.
